It features hand painted and hand designed tiles that bring the tropics of the outdoors to the inside. The ocean view kitchen boasts hand-painted tiles of underwater sea life. For your dining pleasure there is an outdoor patio/lanai with an outdoor dining table under the trees just off the kitchen. The kitchen has large pocket windows that open up as a pass through to the outdoor dining area. There is no indoor dining table just the lovely outdoor area. This is a 2 bedroom home that can accommodate up to 5 persons with 4 garden showers. Private, upstairs, screened gazebo that looks over the gardens and gorgeous Wailea Bay! Bask in the sun at the beach or lay in the hammocks and gaze at dolphins, whales, turtles and all the tropical birds that live in the area.
Designed for outdoor living and relaxation. Each bedroom has it's own sense of privacy and separate bath with private outdoor garden shower. Two hammocks swing between the palm trees to enjoy the views of the bay and water activities from complete serene privacy. The home itself is a piece of art work. Custom designed hand painted tiles create Hawaiian scenes from sandy beaches to tropical flowers. The tropical gardens offer beautiful settings for reading, relaxing and sun bathing. Fairly easy access into sandy bottom ocean for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, surfing and other ocean activities. The Bay is peaceful and is a great place to swim, snorkel and paddle board.

We loved our stay. It was the perfect home for our family. We loved being able to walk to the beach every day.
Guests will have full use and access to home and grounds. No shared spaces.
Do & See:
1. **Beaches**: Visit **Hāpuna Beach**, one of the largest white sand beaches on the island, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. **Pololū Valley Lookout** offers breathtaking views and access to a black sand beach if you're up for a hike.
2. **Historical Sites**: Check out the **Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site**, an ancient Hawaiian temple with significant cultural importance. Another nearby site is the **Lapakahi State Historical Park**, where you can explore the remnants of a traditional Hawaiian fishing village.
3. **Outdoor Adventures**: For adrenaline seekers, there's **ziplining** through lush rainforests with Kohala Zipline, or even **skydiving** over the stunning Kohala Coast. If you prefer something more relaxed, horseback riding tours in the Kohala mountains are also available.
4. **Whale Watching**: From December to March, this area is prime for whale watching, with several lookout points along Highway 270, such as Puukohola Heiau and Kapaʻa Beach Park.
5. **Dining**: For a bite to eat, head to **Hāwī** for local spots like the Kohala Coffee Mill or Sweet Potato Kitchen for vegan and vegetarian comfort food.
